Mati Fungi Guard is a next-generation botanical fungicide that combines three complementary modes of action into a single, ready-to-dilute concentrate. Developed for organic and regenerative farming systems, it delivers preventive and curative protection without synthetic chemistry - safeguarding your crop while keeping the soil food web intact.
Mati Fungi Guard is formulated at the intersection of ethnobotany, soil science, and modern plant pathology. At its core are three actives - each independently validated, each targeting a distinct stage of the fungal infection cycle - combined in a proprietary ratio developed through field and laboratory research by the Matihaat team.
The first active is a standardised extract from a traditional medicinal plant, concentrated for its naturally occurring antifungal coumarin compound. It disrupts the integrity of the fungal cell membrane and prevents germ-tube elongation, making it highly effective against both pre-germination spores and early-stage mycelial networks. Its multi-site mode of action means fungal populations are unlikely to develop resistance over successive spray cycles.
The second active is a low molecular weight biopolymer - a well-established elicitor of systemic acquired resistance (SAR) in plants. When applied to foliage, it is absorbed through the cuticle and signals the plant's immune system to upregulate pathogenesis-related proteins, produce reactive oxygen species at infection sites, and close stomatal openings that act as fungal entry points. This means Mati Fungi Guard does not merely kill the pathogen - it also makes the host plant harder to infect.
The third active is a micro-dose of a naturally occurring inorganic mineral, long recognised in organic farming for its broad-spectrum contact fungicidal activity. Included at carefully calibrated levels, it contributes surface protection while remaining within NPOP-prescribed annual load limits, making Mati Fungi Guard fully compliant with certified organic production standards.
Together, the three actives create overlapping protection across the pre-infection, penetration, and colonisation phases of fungal disease development - the foundation of a robust, resistance-resilient spray programme.

Usage Guidelines
Step 1: Dilution
Add the required quantity to the spray tank first, then fill with clean water. Use 1:100 for curative and 1:200 for preventive applications.
Step 2: Water Quality
Use soft water (pH 6–7). Avoid hard or alkaline water. Adjust with a mild acidifier if needed. Always perform a jar compatibility test before mixing.
Step 3: Application Timing
Apply during early morning or late evening. Avoid spraying during peak sunlight or high temperatures.
Step 4: Coverage
Use a fine mist spray at 200–300 L/ha. Ensure full coverage of both upper and lower leaf surfaces.
Step 5: Frequency
Preventive: Every 14 days
Curative: Every 7–10 days under disease pressure
Step 6: Rainfastness
Ensure 4–6 hours rain-free period after application. Reapply if rainfall occurs within this period.
