গণ ফাঁদ স্থাপনের মাধ্যমে পোকার আক্রমণ সম্পূর্ণরূপে দূর করা সম্ভব নয়, তবে ৭০% ক্ষতি সহ একটি পরিপক্ক ফসলের ক্ষতি ২০% এরও কম কমানো সম্ভব এবং কীটনাশক প্রয়োগ বন্ধ করলে আরও কার্যকরভাবে কাজ করে।
