Mati Plantoil is a premium natural oil insecticide formulated from three potent plant-derived oils — karanj, calendula, and Vitex negundo — blended with natural emulsifiers to deliver powerful, broad-spectrum pest control. Suitable for all crops, outdoor gardens, and organic farming systems. Repels, deters, and kills a wide range of sucking and chewing pests without synthetic chemistry or harmful residues.
Details

Mati Plantoil is a premium botanical insecticide designed for modern organic and regenerative farming systems. Powered by a scientifically balanced blend of three plant-derived oils — karanj oil, calendula oil, and Vitex negundo oil — this advanced formulation delivers broad-spectrum protection against sucking and chewing pests while remaining safe for crops, soil ecosystems, and beneficial agricultural practices.

Developed using traditional botanical knowledge and modern crop protection science, Mati Plantoil offers a natural alternative to conventional synthetic insecticides. It works through multiple complementary mechanisms including repellence, feeding disruption, oviposition deterrence, growth interference, and direct contact activity — helping reduce pest pressure while lowering the risk of resistance development over repeated applications.

At the core of the formulation is cold-pressed karanj oil derived from the seeds of Pongamia pinnata. Rich in naturally occurring bioactive compounds such as karanjin and pongamol, karanj oil acts as a powerful botanical insecticide that interferes with insect feeding behaviour, metabolic activity, and reproductive cycles. It provides strong contact and residual activity against a broad range of agricultural pests and forms the primary insecticidal backbone of the formulation.

To complement this action, Mati Plantoil contains calendula oil extracted from Calendula officinalis flower heads. Naturally abundant in triterpenoids and flavonoids, calendula oil contributes anti-feeding and egg-laying deterrent properties while also offering mild contact insecticidal activity. Treated foliage becomes less attractive to pest insects, helping reduce repeated infestations and feeding damage.

The third active component, Vitex negundo oil, is derived from the traditional Indian medicinal and crop protection plant commonly known as the five-leaved chaste tree. This botanical oil contains naturally occurring iridoids and flavonoids that function as strong repellents, behavioural disruptors, and contact insecticides. It is especially effective against sucking pests and helps create an unfavourable environment for pest colonisation and reproduction.

Together, these three botanical oils create a multi-layered pest management system that protects crops across different pest life stages and feeding behaviours. The formulation is stabilised with natural emulsifiers for excellent dispersion in water, uniform spray coverage, and improved adhesion on plant surfaces.

Mati Plantoil is suitable for vegetables, fruits, cereals, pulses, spices, ornamentals, plantation crops, kitchen gardens, nurseries, and landscape plants. It can be integrated into organic farming programmes, residue-conscious cultivation systems, and sustainable integrated pest management (IPM) strategies.

Key Benefits:
• Broad-spectrum botanical insecticide for sucking and chewing pests
• Repels, deters, and kills pests through multiple natural modes of action
• Helps reduce feeding damage, egg laying, and pest reproduction
• Suitable for organic and regenerative farming systems

Usage Guidelines

Step 01 – Shake Well Before Use

Shake the container vigorously for 30 seconds before measuring the dose to ensure complete homogeneity of the oil formulation.

Step 02 – Dilute Correctly

Add 8–10 ml of Mati Plantoil per litre of clean water. Use 10 ml/L for heavy infestations and 8 ml/L for preventive maintenance sprays. Always add product to water.

Step 03 – Apply at Dawn or Dusk

Spray during early morning or evening hours to maximise efficacy and reduce stress on plants and beneficial insects.

Step 04 – Cover Both Leaf Surfaces

Ensure complete coverage of both upper and lower leaf surfaces, especially the undersides where sucking pests commonly reside.

Step 05 – Repeat on a 7–10 Day Cycle

Apply every 7 days during active infestations for 2–3 consecutive sprays. Preventive programmes may follow a 10–14 day interval.

Step 06 – Allow 4 Hours Before Rain

Ensure at least 4 hours of dry weather after spraying. Reapply if heavy rainfall occurs during this period. Always prepare fresh spray solution on the day of application.

Safety & Precautions

  • For outdoor gardens and ventilated areas only
  • Avoid direct contact with eyes and skin during handling
  • Wear gloves and protective eyewear during application
  • Do not spray during peak pollinator activity
  • Keep away from children, pets, and livestock
  • Do not contaminate water bodies or drainage systems
  • Store away from food, feed, and direct heat sources
  • Shake well before every use
